It's A Rare Delight to experience the birds-eye-view of a new city from the air. On our sightseeing trips we climb to approximately 500m‚ just high enough so you can clearly see the city’s streets‚ canals‚ ships‚ coastline and iconic buildings.

The Experience:
The event begins with a short introduction from the captain of the day‚ who will explain what it’s like to fly a seaplane. In many ways‚ it’s quite different and more demanding for both the captain and the pilot compared to flying a regular aircraft. The description below applies to sightseeing in Copenhagen. In Aarhus‚ the taxi time is shorter.

• Check-in 20 minutes before departure
• 5–10 minute introduction from the captain‚ followed by boarding and a pilot briefing
• 10-minute taxi to the “runway” near Trekroner‚ where we take off
• 15-minute flight over Copenhagen at an altitude of approximately 1‚500 feet (500 meters)
• 10-minute landing at Trekroner and taxi back to the dock

The event lasts around 35–40 minutes in total‚ including the introduction‚ flight over the city‚ taxiing‚ and time for selfies. We fly within a radius of about 50 km‚ so you’ll get to see a lot.

When do we fly sightseeing?
We fly sightseeing almost every day in Copenhagen and some saturdays i Aarhus. Take af look in our booking engine‚ and remember to choose "Copenhagen Sightseeing" or "Aarhus Sightseeing". Find your booking her.

Family Sightseeing
Take your family on a sightseeing tour and save money by getting an early start. On the first departure of the day‚ children (ages 2-12) fly for half price‚ just 397 DKK. For a family of four (2 adults and 2 children)‚ this means a savings of 800 DKK if you choose the first departure. Please note that family sightseeing may not be available on certain days. Change booking:
It is possible to change a booking 8 days before departure if the ticket is booked online. It costs a fee of DKK 200 per booking number. If there are several people on the same booking number‚ it still costs only DKK 200. If you wish to change your booking‚ please send an email to rs@seaplanes.dk.

Delays & Cancellations:
For us to fly one of our sightseeing tours‚ we need a minimum of 6 tickets sold‚ and weather good enough for sightseeing. If we don’t have these two requirements‚ we may need reschedule you to another flight.

If we need to cancel a flight‚ we will refund via the same form of payment used to purchase your ticket(s).
