Are you going from Aarhus to Copenhagen or from Copenhagen to Aarhus? Why drive when you can fly? Nordic Seaplanes offers the fastest and most precise flight route between Denmark’s two largest cities. You avoid wasted time, traffic jams and speeding tickets – even though you are flying at 250 km/h. The flight itself from takeoff to landing takes between 35 and 45 minutes, depending on the wind.
Saved travel time is worth the money
Normally, it takes 3-3 1/2 hours by car, train, or bus to get from Aarhus to Copenhagen or vice versa. With our flight, it takes less than an hour including parking and check-in. You save at least two hours each way. Time that can be used much better than in, for example, the car on the highway. We have plenty of departures both morning and afternoon, so it is possible to fly from one city to the other and back again on the same day, without the travel time stealing the whole day.

The flight altitude is max 3 km, which means that you can easily follow the landscape, see houses, roads, and discover parts of Denmark that you normally never see. The low flight altitude also means that, for most people, there is full internet access during the entire trip. This gives extra time to check emails, work, or read the news online. Aarhus is where NORDIC Seaplanes and our aircraft are based. Based in Aarhus, we fly daily from the port of Aarhus to Copenhagen city center, where we land at Langelinje. The airport in Aarhus is located at the end of Østhavnsvej with Molslinjen as a neighbor. It is about a 10-minute drive to Aarhus C, or what for most is a brisk bike ride or walk. In Copenhagen, the airport is centrally located in the middle of the city with walking distance to many of the city’s attractions and centrally located in relation to many of the city center’s workplaces. You will find check-in, lounge and gate at Nordre Toldbod.
Easy parking close to the gate
Part of the comfort NORDIC Seaplanes offers is easy parking. We know that it means a lot to air travelers that it is easy to park the car and that the parking space is a short distance to the gate – our parking spaces fortunately do both in Copenhagen and Aarhus. In Aarhus, there is parking right at the gate, it is free and does not require a parking permit. In Copenhagen, there is 1 hour of free parking in front of the gate, and if you drive through the gate towards the plane, there is cheap 24-hour paid parking.
